How Do We Solve A Problem Like Miranda Part Deux

Remember that crazy Latina who dared to run for office and was dissed by the democratic party who have claimed to want more minorities in government?   Well, she has discovered the hypocritical core of the democratic party and she ain't shutting up!!!!

Pissed off at the democratic party that talks out of both sides of their snout, she did this press release calling them out on what they "preach".  (go to the end of the post to see her full presser)

Here is the TU coverage: Miranda Dems Need To Support Minorities Upstate

As a person who is non white, I came to realize the democratic party (inner city ghettocrats) are nothing more than herders of the poor and minority pretty late in life.  I have asked in the past who is more racist democrats to republicans?

Because democrats claim to help us and don't.  Republicans simply ignore us.  If all you are going to give me is a way to abort more of my peeps, stay underemployed, crappy public housing, and shitty schools then just give me A 40 oz and a mule and leave me alone.

BTW, is there any correlation between the fast growth of the Hispanic population compared to African Americans and the fact that more African Americans undergo abortions than Hispanics   Hmm, nah, that can't be right.  Lets scratch that completely brilliant and logical hypothesis.

This isn't shocking for those unplugged from the matrix.

What I love is how she calls us "CHUMPS".  Yes, Malcolm X's famous Chumps tirade, here it is:

"The race is so close they have to go back and count the votes again"

Brotha was prophetic!

Black and Latinos: Modern Day Political Chumps
Electing Diversity vs. Controlling Diversity

Friday, December 7, 2012 (Duanesburg, NY) Former Democratic Senatorial candidate Mónica Arias Miranda, a Latina who has a been outspoken about the lack of diversity in state government and electorate body, has issued the following statement in response to the rhetoric coming from the Democrat party regarding the current Legislative leadership struggle:

Arias Miranda stated, “It is insulting to continue to see the race card being drawn again by the Democrat party, as it continues to dismiss minorities as potential candidates in races outside of New York City. The party that claims to work with us [minorities] to eliminate lack in diversity chooses to only talk about this issue when it is convenient for them, during election year and when minority count will yield a monetary outcomes.  As minorities we are reduced to data:  votes and statistics.

“The Black and Latino population continues to grow across NYS, yet, when the Democrat Party talks about lack of diversity in the legislature and leadership positions, they fail to  mention their lack of support for minority candidates.  Hispanics in NY account for 17.6% or 3.4 million from the 19.4 million total, a 19.2% increase since 2000 (from 2.9 million to 3.4 million).  The non-Latino population grew only slightly by 2.1% from 19.0 million to 19.4 million during the same time period.  Upstate NY saw substantial Latino population increase in the cities of Kingston, Albany, Schenectady, Amsterdam, Rochester, Buffalo and Syracuse.  How many minority candidates has the Democrat Party supported in these areas? For example, the City of Amsterdam has a Latino population of approximately 30% yet the Democrats continue to fail to support a minority candidate in that City, you will not find a single Latino serving the constituents in that City.

“At the same time that Latinos are the fastest growing minority group in the state, the population continues to face barriers and discrimination in the areas of education, employment, health and housing as evidenced by poverty levels, low graduation rates, increase crime and dependency on social welfare programs, lack of affordable housing and representation in the workforce and legislature.  These barriers directly contribute to the population’s ability to effectively participate in the political process, elect candidates of our choice and even run for office. The Democrat party continues to use of the minority vote to maintain control, not to help these communities.

“Malcolm X said it best when he said that minorities are seen as political chumps where our votes are sought after yet we get very little in return.  That was back in the 60s but the argument is very applicable today as we continue to see an increase in poverty and high school drop rates and more rhetoric about how critical our vote is for progressive leadership.  What do we get in return?  More welfare, no jobs and a path to the criminal justice system for our youths.”

Anytime you throw your weight behind a political party that controls two-thirds of the government, and that Party can’t keep the promise that it made to you during election time, and you’re dumb enough to walk around continuing to identify yourself with that Party, you’re not only a chump, but you’re a traitor to your race. - Malcolm X

“Across New York State we [Blacks and Latinos] are told we are not allowed to run for office by the Party that claims diversity is lacking in the Legislative body.  We cannot continue to be allowed to be treated as political chumps by a political party that has shown us no Return on Our Investment.”

Mónica Arias Miranda has been a strong Democratic supporter serving as 2008 Delegate-at-Large for Barack Obama and Treasurer/Organizer for the Albany for Obama Campaign. She helped raise over $100,000 and register 2,000+ new Democratic voters.  She was a strong ally for local municipalities in ensuring Latinos participated in the 2010 Census.  Mónica Arias Miranda is the Founder, President and CEO of The Hispanic Coalition NY, Inc. a statewide organization with a current network of over 7,000 people.

The 46th Senate District In Under 12 Posex

I love Star Wars, period.  With the exception of that disaster JarJar Binks, the SW movies were great.  If you ask me today which one is the best, I will change my mind daily because I can easily come up with another reason to like a different episode.

So, I saw this blog post on the Daily Gazette which made an attempt to compare the electoral race, specifically the vote count, to the Star Wars movies.  David Lombardo, the writer of the post, actually drew a parallel between Copy-Tkaczyk and Amedore to the rebels and the Empire.  In case you missed it, Cece is the Rebels and Amerdore is the Empire.  BTW, much props to the Gazette, they have done a great job covering this race unlike some other papers we know: Is The Force With Tkaczyk

Maybe in a galaxy far far away can facts be distorted to bring an aura of "underdog" to an unaccomplished lightweight deficient in metachlorians like Cece and make Amedore (who I have refered to UmpalumpAmedore) the evil bad guy.  But for those who paid attention to the race, Cece is not an innocent little rebel and Amedore ain't evil.

Cece was backed to the tune of almost (and place your pinky finger in your mouth as you read this) $1,000,000 dollars from NYC politicians and special interests.  Yes, a cool million.  Amedore actually raised his own money and while he too received special interest money, it was a fraction of what Cece, the poor little victim, received.

Not to mention the efforts that democrats put forth at universities like UAlbany, to rig votes in her favor.  If Lombardo really wanna do some invertigative reporting, start looking at the garbage that went on at the UA.  BTW, UA has always been used my the democrats to rig local races, just ask Whalen III and Jennings and their voter registration parties.

The T is Silent
If you want a Star Wars analogy to fit the 46th SD race, Cece is JarJarBinks, walking around clueless as to what is really going on, no idea what to think (Greene County democrats gotta release that tape with her answer on hydrofracking) waiting for someone to tell her what to say and what to think.

"Duh, the district was designed for me!"
Seeing an opportunity, the evil empire, NYC, uses the opportunity to prop up JarJar as the savior of the galaxy.  Amedore is Hansolo just looking for an opportunity to get a run gig on his Millenium Falcon, still thinking it can do 12 posex, ignoring the "Check Engine" light telling him that maybe the trip is not going to go as fast as he had hoped.

The Board of Elections is the bar scene where they realize who ever wins this race, has already promised their loyalties to someone else but the people of the Galaxy.
Board of Elections still counting.

I am really against fracking
The issues DAMN IT!
I guess the other two decent candidates in the race, Dolan and Miranda are Chewbacca and The Queen of the Naboo.  Chewbacca always means well but comes across as abrasive and clumsy.  The Queen only thinks about her people but the Evil Empire is always hatin' on her and she always finds herself, by herself with her values.

Lombardado, cute but poor attempt at underdogging Cece you did!

Election Day

Sorry for my silence.  I know you could not do without my brilliance.  I know, I know.  Work has been crazy, family drama, got sick, car broke down, you know, life happened.  But I never intended this blog to be about anything, so there!

I thought I should share my endorsements for what they are worth.

President:  Who cares?  Obama is winning NY so it doesn't matter.  I will probably do a third party like I do.  But if you want to know who else you can vote for, here are my takes:

  • Gary Johnson, Libertarian - A former governor of a democrat state but republican/conservative.  If Romney wasn't a flip-flopper, he would be Gary Johnson
  • Virgil Goode, Constitution Party - I love his accent, sounds like Foghorn Leghorn.  Congressman but has switched parties all over the place.  Now a democrat.
  • Jill Stein, Green - Neo-Liberal, sharp.  Everything these left wing hypocrites wish Obama was, she is.
  • Lindsay, Socialist - Retro-Liberal.  Thanks to Obama, every buffoon who thinks they are a community organizer because they organized a party in the community room of some housing project think they can run for president.

US Senate: Long.  Jellybrains was a lawyer for big tobacco and somehow gets away with it because she is so cute and pretty.  And she is.  Reminds me of those girls from Midwood Brooklyn who I couldn't get cause, well, I was broke and too dark  But she went to Emma Willard,  Dartmouth, and UCLA and I refuse to vote for those who have been privileged to attend such exclusive schools.  The Bruins suck.

Oh wait, Long went to Dartmouth and Northwestern.   Hmmmm, I may change my mind still.  I don't ever want to vote for success.

Congress: Dieterich.  I still can't understand how Tonko has been in office for so damn long with ZERO accomplishments, can stay in office.  Well, not exactly zero but nothing memorable.  BTW, NO FORECLOSURES under Dieterich.  That's amazing!!!!!  What other liberal/conservative buffoon can say that?  Bob went to SUNY!!!!!!

Congress: Gibson.  The Tea Party hates him because he voted once for one bill that they didn't like.  Liberals hate him because he is a tea party guy.  If the two extremes don't like you, I do!!!!

Congress: Doheny/Owen.  Classic case of two rich kids running for office but claiming they are not so they can relate to the regular guy.  Flip a coin.

DA:  Write Your Name.  Soares is the only choice after Don Cleary tanked the race in hopes of getting Kindlon elected.  Teri told him to go screw himself.  HA HA HA HA!

State Senate: Breslin.  The GOP tanked this race again to help the democrats, yes, there are no republican candidates.  Lebron tried to do an OTB so anyone could run but the GOP tanked that too.  LaVernia, the Green Party guy, is just like Breslin so I rather keep what I already know.  BTW, had a chance to meet Breslin this year, very nice and engaging guy.

State Senate: Amedore.  Cecilia CopyTkaczyk is an underachieving regurgitator.   Nothing of accomplishments except for some claim she helped start a union at Harvard about 30 years ago.  Obviously she mentions this so that everyone thinks she attended Harvard when in fact she did not.  As Vice-Prez for the schoolboard in Duanesburgh, laid off teachers, employees, and cut funding.  But of course, it was not her fault.  She also had no idea what to think about hydrofracking until that latin girl, Miranda, and Dolan came on the scene.  Not to mention that over 90% of her campaign support has come from NYC.  That's like paying $5000 for a 20 yearl od Yugo.

Amedore doesn't have much of accomplishments either (assembly republican)  but we all know what he stands for and he has better hair than Cici.

Assembly: Danz.  Fahy and people like her need to be held accountable for their body of work.  They can't screw up schools and claim it's not their fault.  Moses......errrr......Sullivan took the conservative line just to tank Danz.  A Danz win will be a slap in the face to the Democratic Machine and Richard Stack.

Assembly:  Whalen.  Two well off, privately educated lawyers.  But one is proud of her achievements and the other uses her achievements to show how down to earth he is.  Why hasn't Jelly brains endorsed Steck? Hmmmmm.  May be the bathroom-penis incident at the county building restrooms had something to do with it.  This is from the for-sale blogger, AlbanyCitizenCa$hinggg!
Disclaimer:  Since it is from Theresa Graflin it may or may not be true.

Assembly: Campbell.  Everyone's pissed that Carolyn is still running.  She is on the ballot under Working Families Party.  Just because she is the Democratic party SECRETARY doesn't mean she has to support the winner of her party's primary, John McDonald.  Loyalty? LOL!  Campbell is the libertarian candidate and all I know is that is not involved in that mess.

Assembly: Lopez.  This Lopez guy is running against.......wait for it.......wait for it..... Jim "Drunk Driving Cop" Miller!!!!  Yes, that Jim Miller, one of Albany's finest!!!!!  Retired now.  When does it ever stop.

Assembly: Santabarbara.  Best negative ad!!!!  Quackenbush is a union republican who has raised taxes.  Go figure that one out. I love the duck!

Go vote!

It will take more than a hurricane to bring you down.

HA HA HA! AlbanyCitizenSkank and the Indys!

What a wonderful morning!!!!

All of the endorsements of AlbanyCitizenSSN Lost!  All but one, McDonald.  BUT......You didn't think a democrat hag from Texas was going to endorse a sista, right?  So that's a non endorsement.

Breslin killed Morse and Soares taught Kindlon a lesson.  Since there are no GOP candidates for the these races then Beslin and Soares have been relected.

But the biggest story was the Indy primary, Republican Ted Danz and Jenni Whalen easily beat the "progressive" democrats Fahy and Steck.  That's the real story that I am sure the TU will gloss over.

Also, Sullivan, I am sure with some "help" from democrat machine hack Richard Stack, took the Conservative line from Ted Danz.  I would recount those ballots like no ones business.  Again, we are talking about Stack and only god knows what crap went on behind the scenes to pull this off.

On a minor note, in the Hilltowns, Debbie Busch's son lost an attempt to take over the GOP in Berne.  Believe me, this is second hand info as I have no idea what is going on up there.  Apparently the nurse tried to get her son to primary two long time committee people so they can rig races for Debbie.  Well, his ass lost too.

I love thursday primaries!!!!

Democrats in Albany and AlbanyCitizenSSN

Who knew the democrats were so into sex.

Yesterday, Monica Arias Miranda, held a press conference at the state capitol where she bashed the state government for being a bunch of male shovenist pigs. What makes this interesting is that she was a staffer for the overwhelmingly democrat dominated State Assembly Ways and Means .  Yes, once again, democrats created a culture where they declared war on women under their employ.

Here is coverage on:
YNN - This is the whole press conference.
Times Union
New York Post
Village Voice

Declared War?

Yes, declared war!  See, these same dems are now blaming republicans for declaring war on women for refusing to pay for their birth control all the while they are the ones really engaging in hand to hand combat.  Is there anything they blame republicans for that they don't start first?

I find this expose quite courageous.  As we all know, she will never ever work in state government again.  It is the kind of courage that apparently goes unrecognized by the same hypocrites on the left who deride such behavior when it occurs on the other side of the aisle.  She's all alone.  Well, in cyberspace I got her back.

Copy-Tkaczyk now has 3 days to copy this act of courage.  I suggest a better hair do, some makeup and a shorter skirt.

My favorite cyberbully, AlbanyCitizenSSN took her blog to the next level.

Apparently she disclosed the social security numbers of a bunch of people who work for Soares.  Clearly a sign of desperation from an old woman with not much of a future, she thought that exposing such information would harm David Soares in his primary bid for DA against her boy toy Lee Kindlon.

It is illegal in most states to disclose such information publicly unless it is your own.  SO....Mike Conners, our county controller, was the culprit who gave her the information.  Yes, Mike Conners and AlbanyCitizenSSN may have broken the law.  Conners should resign and Kindlon should go to Circles in Stuyvesant Plaza and get her another business suit.

People, this town is full of orgies.  Soares-Vito-Staffers-Boxley-Silver or the cheaper kind with AlbanyCitizenWah-Kindlon-Commisso-Morse.  I am about to barf.

Karlin Found Guilty of Tax Fraud

Funny thing about the IRS and taxes, just like a divorced wife, they want their money!  So when you fail to file tax forms, the official invoice of the IRS, you can only imagine how pissed they are going to be.  Now imagine missing 6 invoices.

So the US Court of Appeals Third Circuit sent their hitmen after Jack Karlin back in 1986 for failing to pay taxes.  Here is the decision

Why would I post about this?  If you read the TU then the title probably grabbed your attention.  You probably though I was referring to Rick Karlin, writer for the Times Union.  Well, I was just trying to a make point.  If the power of suggestion is as powerful as many think it is, then "Karlin" and "Tax Fraud" will stick in your head and you won't vote for Pete Lopez for Assembly in the 102nd district.

Rick wrote the following blog about Pete Lopez Lopez Stripped Of Housing Committee Interns Over Sex Harass.  Ooops I meant Vito Lopez, ghettocrat from Brooklyn.

See, the TU is the paper of record in this area, the NY Times is the paper of record in NYC.  When I read that Lopez was in trouble I instantly thought of Pete not Vito.

Maybe exactly the suggestive intent the TU wanted.

Citizen In-Action Endorsements

I was going to write a lengthy post about Citizen Action and all the wonderful work they do.  Like backing a local "community organizer" over a long time progressive.  But I thought perhaps a few texts could explain it better:

"It really kind of looks like now that John Kerry is on his way to the presidential nomination. The only thing that can sink John Kerry now is an Al Gore endorsement.”

Paladino vs Dunce

I love this!

Dunce Clarey, the democrat .....errrrr.... "republican" operative and head of the Albany county GOP starts some shit with Paladinosaur, the disaster of a gubernatorial candidate.  Apparently, Dunce is trying to get in the GOPs good graces by defending the establishment's honor.  Carl is trying to challenge the establishment by exposing it in the only way he knows how, the art of bully diplomacy.

Read all about it, props to the TU:  Letter Wars Carl Paladino v Don Clarey

I am so happy this is happening because not only are these two DISASTERS, but they both have worked together.  See last year Paladino's sweety pie Deb Busch helped Dunce Clarey keep the ballot clear of any GOP opposition.  Both Dunce and Carl are gonna have to deal with that shit.

Same shit in Niagara, Erie, and Cattaraugus counties.   Albany and the nurse are not the only ones.

So, I took the liberty of emailing my boy Lebron to get his take.  Lebron was the one Clarey prevented from running against McCoy for county executive.  He pretty much took the high ground.  I suspect because he is working on someone's campaign and doesn't want to ruffle any patronage feathers.  But he did recommend a great scene from a great movie, Glengarry Glen Ross.  Not the one every body knows, but another one.  He wrote "lets just say I am Alpacino".

YES!!!!  Now, you guess who is Dunce Clarey!

Is Xerox Funding CopyTkaczyk? Updated!

I told you on a previous post that Cecilia Tkaczyk, who I so lovingly call CopyTkaczyk, has no ideas of her own and just goes around lifting anything her opponents are doing.  And you probably thought I was smoking cheap weed again and didn't know what I was talking about.  Then I proved it to you by showing you a press release debacle where one of her challengers, Monica Arias Miranda, beat her on an issue but Cici's willing accomplices in the TU covered for CopyTkaczyk.

Tkaczyk Strikes First
Email Trail of Crumbs

Then I said that CopyTakczyk is an empty suit willing to regurgitate anything anybody tells her.  Remember?

Ok, well, wait for it!

Wait for it!

Wait for it!

Yes, the Xerox candidate is lifting another idea from another opponent, this time is Tom Dolan.  Dolan who was unanimously endorsed by the Albany County Democrats decided to create an independent line to oppose fracking.  I think the party is called the No Fracking Party.  Cool.

Now CopyTkaczyk is creating a Save Our Schools party line to appear on the november ballot regardless of what happens on primary day.  All courtesy of the Troy Democratic Party ...........errrrrrr......... The Working Families Party.  Yes, I have friends who are WFP and think the parties endorsement of CopyTkaczyk is a farce.

People, democrats specially, please pretty please pay attention.  Not only is she a terrible candidate but she's apparently for sale to NYC.

Since I refuse to post twice in one day, I am going to update this post instead.

CopyTkaczyk held a press conference on education exactly the day after Miranda was on the radio talking about the education funding formula.

Here is the radio interview with Miranda:

And here is that press conference of CopyTkazyk:

Busy, But Never Too Busy For Sullivan

The company I work for had taken a bunch of us to Hartford, CT to do some work.  The good thing is that downtown Hartford is nice and has a lot of places to chill after work.  The bad, the rest of Hartford looks like a crime scene.  But a kid from Brooklyn ain't sweating it.

Back here in Albany it was petition period time.  Not a lot of interesting stories other than eveyone got enough signatures to get on their ballots, cool!.  Even that creep Scavo, not cool!.  More with him in the future.

Lebron tried to do an OTB republican petition to get anyone to appear on the ballot for the senatorial district currently held by Breslin.  As I suspected, he once again didn't make it and the Albany County GOP successfully, once again, threw another race.

Then I saw that Danz stuck it to Joe Sullivan.  Yes, Joe Sullivan, the machine democrat who has done everything possible for them to win.  The guy is like 90 years old and probably remembers when the democratic machine took over the city of Albany back in the 20s.  He probably voted in that election.

So, I went to his blog and guess what, Lebron stuck it to Sullivan!!!!!  I love it!!!!!!

Sullivan is an old guy Richard Stack uses to kill candidates.  Nothing new here.  Sullivan was a republican chairman, "ran" against Gerry all the while he would pop up at democratic committee meetings to chill with his peeps.  All true.  While Joey was a "republican"  he would attend democratic party meetings to help out.  Any democratic leaders in the 90's can confirm this.

I remember back in 1993 when he ran for alderman as a democrat and was a huge Joyce and Jennings backer.  I know they ran against each other but while he was publicly backing one, he secretly kissed the butt of the other.  You figure out which is which.

Lebron (who is a notary public) collected signatures on the CON line to help that party elect anyone else but Sullivan.  Ah revenge is a can of Vanilla flavored Ensure best served cold.

But in Sullivan's typical racist ways, conveniently did not name the others who also collected.  Why?  They are white.  Please give me another reason.  I am all ears!!!! (I do have Will Smith ears).

Here is Sullivan's blog: Sullivan's Post

As I undertand OTB (Opportunity To Ballot) is nothing more than a write-in spot.  It does not endorse anyone.  But Sullivan, who doesn't undertand democracy (I know, sounds redundant, I already said he was a machine democrat), thinks this was a conspiracy against him.  It is not.  It is a prospiracy against him!!!

So my boy sticks it again to the machine.  Ballz!!!!!!

Drive-By Harpooning

There was a drive-by shooting on Lark and Sheridan.  So?  Well, I saw the news on Channel 6 and apparently to "community activist" Jaqui Williams, we have a problem with illegal guns.
Without knowing for a fact that it was done with an illegal gun this buffoon and channel 6 had no reservations of taking the news story in that direction.

See, the problem is not that another drive-by shooting occurred, or that there is still criminal/gang activity in the city...Nahhh.  The problem is that they used a gun, and that is wrong.

Here is the channel 6 story:

And here is the text of the story in case the video gets timed out:
"ALBANY -- Just before 5 p.m. Monday shots rang out during a drive by shooting at the corner of Lark and Sheridan Streets.
"Right at rush hour traffic too. It's obviously a concern for us as well as the members of our community" says officer Steve Smith, spokesperson for the Albany Police Department.
Two male victims were taken to Albany Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
An hour and a half later police located the car in question just a few blocks away on Sherman Street.
CBS 6 cameras were rolling as the car was taken away on a flat-bed truck with a police escort.
This latest shooting is yet another reminder for community activist Jacqui Williams that the city of Albany has work to do When it comes to cracking down on illegal guns. Williams says despite their efforts, the market is always there.
"They are readily available to anyone who's got money and I don't think anyone's checking id. If someone's got the cash to pay for a gun they get sold the gun and that's unfortunate" says Williams.
"All the guns being located on the streets of Albany are not by accident. The men and women of this police department are very proactive. They're stopping people, they're monitoring people."
Williams says neighbors are monitoring their own situations everyday.
”Before we go out to help a neighbor we make sure we've got our cell phones just in case the person who is causing the upset has a gun. It is something that I'm aware of."
It's that same awareness that if used correctly may have prevented two men from getting shot Monday."

So, to be more supportive of the community to stop the use of guns, criminals should forget the gun and start using the harpoon.

It is fast, clean, and because it does not produce a combustion to propel the projectile, it is even green!!!  And there is no SNUG program for harpoons, no buy back program, no harpoon serialization legislation.  A good old fashioned Cape Cod harpoon.

So, if you have to bust a cap, don't be wack and use a gun...Use a Harpoon!

The Harpoon
The environmentally and socially conscious choice for killing in Da' Hood!

Miranda Has Video Ads

I will not be making a habit of a being a mouth piece for a candidate.  Yes, yes, yes I like Lebron and the ballz he brings to the game.  But you know the regressives and the Machine were not going to allow this brotha to even be known, you know, being a republican and all.  So I did my part in bringing some Chi balance into the game.  I was so good that I have idiots like the machine blogger AlbanyCitizenWah, and Scavo, and The Nurse, and others claiming I am Lebron.

But Miranda, in a weird way, has the same problem.  She is a democrat, very left and guess what?  The democratic machine in Schenectady and Ulster don't want her to succeed.  Notice how the hypocrite left is all quiet.  Can't hear a peep.

All I know about Monica Miranda is that she has busted her ass to get the left more voters, and more democrats.  She busted her ass to get Obama elected and to help out other candidates.  And in return for her loyalty, nothing. Nada, Zilch!

So, before CopyTkaczyk and the TU conspire once again to make Miranda look bad, I thought I post these vids she had on her website.  Nice and short 30 second spots.  The TU normally does a blog post or two when a candidate does video but they will wait for CopyTkaczyk to follow someone else.  Then it will look like she's a forward thinking genious.

Email Trail of Crumbs

How was Copy-Tkaczyk able to get an interview with the Times Union just after Miranda sent out a press release challenging her republican challenger Amedore, Governor Cuomo, and her own party?   You guessed it, establishment PedroCrats and the TU.

Her press release blast was passed on to the Copy-Tkaczyk camp and the TU did not post Miranda's press release to give the goat farmer the edge.  And I have the email trail to prove it.

And once again, this character makes me post twice in one freaking day.

Copy-Tkaczyk Strikes First with TU Help!!!

The latina chick running for assembly, Monica Arias Miranda, sent out a press release calling on Amedore's vote for Peter Rivera's nomination to a patronage post.  Here is the release that was forwarded to me yesterday:

Arias Miranda:  Ethics Not Needed in NYS
Questions GeorgeAmadore's Public Position on Senate Confirmation of Fellow Assemblymember tiedto Slush Funds Investigated by FBI and Prosecuted by Federal Justice Department

Monday, June 11, 2012, Today, Monica AriasMiranda, candidate for the 46 State Senate District, publicly called on SenateLeadership to question Governor Cuomo’s Labor Commission Nominee, Peter Rivera, given his involvement in misappropriating $2 million in tax-payers dollars that were channeled to a ghost non-profit organization managed byhis former law partner and campaign treasurer, David Griffiths.

Arias Miranda also called onAssemblyman George Amadore, Republican candidate for the 46th State SenateDistrict, to make his views public on the nomination. "George Amadoreneeds to let voters now how he would vote if he was a Senator on thisissue.  State Senators are Constitutionally entrusted with theconfirmation of top government posts.  This is not a minor responsibilityand Assemblyman Amadore needs to let voters know now what his vote would be onthis nomination."

According to Arias Miranda, "Only a few days ago a federal court foundDavid Griffiths guilty of lying to FBI agents investigating the misuse oftaxpayer dollars, obstruction of justice and mail fraud.  The $2 millionin question were funds allocated to Neighborhood Enhancement for TrainingServices (NETS) through a Legislative Capital Grants program, which is fundedthrough bonded money and administered by the NYS Dormitory Authority.  Griffith is facing 45 years in prison.  For years, New York City newspapers havedocumented, empty office space and missing staff from the non-profit which washeavily funded by tax-dollars to perform community development work.”

"New York is in the midst of amajor economic downturn. Hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers are out of workand many more have had their wages and salaries reduced.  New Yorkers needto feel confident that their elected officials are competent, ethicalpolicymakers who are truly concerned with the problems taxpayers are facing andare willing to address them adequately." declared Arias Miranda.

"I am dedicated to talking about the issues that affect each of us as acommunity and individuals. As voters, we must realize that our state governmenthas been hijacked by corrupt, unethical politicians that care little for thestruggles of the average New Yorker.  Itis time to take back our government," declared Arias Miranda.

Now, why is this angering me?  Well, the Times Union decided to not only ignore the press release but to publish a copy cat attempt by another challenger, Tkaczyk.  Rumors has it that this character merely copies what other candidates do because she herself is substanceless.

No one will ever confuse the TU with an objective paper.  But to go out of its way to ignore a hispanic candidate in favor of the white chick is pretty low.  Barring a reasonable explanation, I can only conclude that her ethnicity is the reason why she was passed over by the TU.

To be fair, compare the Miranda's press release to that of copy-cat Tkaczyk. TU Blog Post

Miranda has ballz and Copy-Tkaczyk, is a predictable lightweight.

Pedro Staffer Running for Senate:Tkaczyck (Updated)

Thanks to John Paul I decided to make some corrections.  See not only am I not perfect, I admit it like a good boy!  BTW, I also misspelled Tkaczyk.  However, I don't usually cap parties when I am pissed at them.  Also, I got the idea of the chalk board from Glenn Beck.  See, I even give credit where credit is due.

This is too damn complicated to explain.  But apparently the democrats in the republican invented 46 senatorial district have been tripping themselves over Cecilia Tkaczyk.  Duke University proved you don't need to know how to pronounce someone's name in order to be a winner.  But a bit of integrity would help.

So instead of explaining why she is another democrat disaster, I thought I'll GlennBeck this thing for ya.  Now that she forced me to post twice in one day, I really dislike her:

109th Assembly Circus!!!!

On any given day the circus is in town, you can see the libs protesting animal abuses.  But they are pretty quiet when it is election time and the circus is back abusing the people.  Libs like animals more than people.

So in case you have missed the cast of characters running for the democratic nod for the 109th assembly district here is a tally so far:

Frank Commisso Jr
Pat Fahy
Chris Higgins
Margarita Perez
William McCarthy
Jim Coyne
I could vote for Frank and William.  Perez is another ghettocrat looking to help out NYC, Higgins is a county legislator, Pat, well, just look at our schools and taxes, and Jim Coyne, I wanna like the dude but he is an excon who went to jail for government contract kickbacks.

And that is your democratic party!!!!

Morse Code -- --- .-. ... . / -.-. --- -.. .

Morse is a Democrat Hack.

So I got to see Shawn Morse on Liz Benjamin's Show last week, Capital Tonight.  Normally she is stuffy and quite frankly too smart for her guests.  So it was a treat to see another under achieving retrocrat on her show, Shawn Morse.

Now, Morse is another useless county legilsator from Albany County.  He thinks it is his turn to run for state senate and walk into office just like McCoy did.  Except this time Neil Breslin is in the way.  But just like last year, nothing from the Grand Ole Punters.  If Morse is a bud of McCoy then I bet my dog's buscuits the GOP will not run anyone.  Just a hunch.

So back to Liz, she starts talking to him and he starts his nonsense about how unfunded manadates are awfull.  He has been in the county ledge 8 years and this cadaver never said or murmured the words unfunded mandates, now he is outraged.  Told ya, hack.

He then goes on to tell Liz that he is going to the senate to help democrats and that he is running to represent democrats.  The other 70% of us could pretty much screw ourselves.

Liz didn't press him much.  Pretty unorthodox for her, she actually prides herself in giving these clowns an intellectual beatdown.

Why is this important?  Well............ Morse decided to be outraged about the ex Senator Pedro Espada recently being found guilty on a bunch of shit.  He tried to imply that Neil Breslin was responsible for Espada's rise to power.  Well, that must have been because he was there to help out democrats, right Morse?  You know, like YOU intend to do!

But I'll keep watching Liz to keep myself informed on current events at my state capital.  Not to mention this wierd attraction I have for super smart geeky women from New Paltz.

State Liquored Authority : Drinking and Driving is Wrong!

It is hard to piss me off.  I have developed such a high tolerance for BS that my personal threshold for anger is pretty strong.  HOWEVER, driving drunk and getting away with it is one quick way to get me going.  Well, committing any crime and getting away with it pretty much does it for me.

I received info that a deputy commossioner for the State Liquor Authority was arrested for drinking and driving in Albany a couple of weeks ago.  Now, I've been looking at looking for his name and have not seen it.  The perp allegedly broke a .18 blood alcohol content.  The state limit is .08 so for you math geniouses who did poorly on decimals, .18 is more than double of .08.

According to their website, there are only two deputy comms based out of their Albany office,
Joshua Carr, DC for Internal Audit and Special Projects and Kerri O'Brien DC for licensing.

Now we need to know what the State Liquored Authority is going to do about it.  This agency has a long history of being a good hiding place for political hacks and appointees.

More to come when I get a name...

I am new to blogging.  As you can tell, I don't make much effort to do it regularly and I certain have an anti bullshit slant.  But there are others who do it religiously.

I read the TU Local Politics blog the most.  I dip into other blogs from time to time but this is the one that I come back to.  So I wanted to take time to recognize just some of the posters to this blog who keep me informed, misimformed, and entertained.

How Do You Solve A Problem Like Miranda?

Monica Arias Miranda is the head of the Hispanic Coalition.  If you know me, you know what I think about groups like the Hispanic Coalition, NAACP, any union, or the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants;  special interest groups created to help democrats win based on sex or ethnicity.

So, this woman decides to run for state senate against republican Umpa-Lumpa Amedore.  Since Amedore has given money to Gerry Jennings I am now interested.

She was the first to announce.  But there are 3 others running besides her for the democratic nod, Tkaczyck (she should coach basketball at Duke), Tom Dolan from Coeymans, and Bob Prentiss (yes republican turn carpetbagger interviewed for the Albany democrat nomination).  Guess who did not get an interview?   Yeap, the hispanic chick.

I have always said that democrats are more racist than republicans.  See, dems actively keep people of color down but republicans simply don't care.   So while this is not a surprise to me, I understand how it is a surprise to everyone else.

To add insult to injury, the Albany dems gave their nod to Dolan.  Ok.  Miranda then makes a stink by refering to the process as part of the good old boys network.  Damn, she got it and she didn't even have to sell herself for a few business suits from Marshall's like some self appointed public advocate blogger we know.

I am now in love!!!

So what she's a democrat, she is taking it to the machine just like another latino brotha we know who shares his name a famous basketball player from the Miami Heat.  If this is the future of latino anti status quo politics in America, yo quiero taco hell!!!!!

Matt Clyne, the head of the Albany Machine democrats said he would reopen the interview to consider Miranda.  Of course, after he picked his boy Dolan already.

Miranda, sloppy seconds is not only bad in 70's cheap porn, but also in politics ask Vanessa Del Rio.  Don't bother.  Trust me, you have bigger plantains to fry.

Here is an oldy but goody on this Palm Sunday.

The Ghosts In the Machine

So, the vote went down!  10 legislators voted against the lawyer of the machine and 27 voted for the same shit.
I’ve been here since the early 80s.  I am used to the machine running things.  I am used to the machine being corrupt and racist as I am used to them controlling every political party.  The machine, which is all democrat, has controlled the republican party from time to time.  One shining example was the time Joe Sullivan, another protégé of Richard Stack and machine operative, took over the city GOP.
But the other operatives of the machine have eluded us all.  Who the hell is part of the machine?  Who is an active player?  At the county level, we have successfully identified 27 of these ghosts.

This vote is bittersweet for every citizen of this area.  On one hand we know who is who.  On the other, the corruption continues.  This was not a win for the right wing, nor a victory for the republicans nor a defeat for the liberals.  Marcelle has been the lawyer of corruption in the county and now we the taxpayer gets to pay him $110K to continue to be what he has always been, a defender for the machine.

Who else is a Brooklyn kid supposed to root for!!!  I could chill with some Jets and even Bills.  All about NY!!!!

This officially makes Tom Brady, Eli's son!!!  (in the hood in NYC it was insulting to refer to someone as your "son", its more a basketball trash talking thang).  Today they replaced the "son" with "bitch".

Another amazing game.  But the 2008 Superbowl still the best.

Brady, there is always next year.

2012 Mullegan

Took a late lunch so I can have a short afternoon at work.  Then I made the mistake of going to the TU blogs and guess what?  See for yourself:

McCoy taps former GOP counsel as Albany County attorney

Then I had to reminisce of the good old days:

And then:
Deborah Busch's Campaign Finance

Too full right now to figure it out for you.  But it all makes sense.

On Balance, We Lost a Good Man

George Infante

One great thing about dying when you are very old is that you can be a complete ass and still be respected.  Sol Greenberg is one of those lucky ones, click here to see what I really think of this character:  Sol and Jermaine Henderson

So when I heard Infante passed away, I had to think carefully about this post.  I wouldn’t want to paint him with the same brush I painted Sol.

Being a minority makes you want to instantly hate chiefs of any police agency, and with good reason.  Cops who are corrupt are protected, other cops like to abuse the civil rights of citizens, and they will always have the backing of the DA.  If you are in jail, and I have never been to jail, the guards abuse the prisoners and help smuggle drugs.  Oh, you thought it was just visitors?  Don’t be so stupid, of course prison guards are part of smuggling market.

Infante was Sheriff for 10 years.  A lot happened under his watch:
  • Guards caught interfering with drug investigations
  • Prison protests
  • Prison expansion – He was a force behind solving a serious overcrowding problem
  • De Maria – she was protestor who used to complain about prison conditions and Iran-Contra.  I was a big lefty in the mid 80s and I loved this woman.

But perhaps the best thing I recall from those days was a program he put together to put veterans who were incarcerated in contact with veteran groups.  I believe in 2nd chances like a motha and this program helped many veterans get back on the right track.  Only he could come up with such a great program as he was a WWII vet.  Good stuff.

About the only negative thing I have to say about Mr. Infante is that he was ineffective as county ledge.  But can we blame him for it?  The body is bloated so that it can’t get anything done.  I’ll give him a pass.
We are losing people from a great generation of Americans.  A generation who, while not perfect, still believed in helping people.  Welcome to the human race.

On balance, Albany lost a good man.  Rest in Peace.
